Walking Cane Ukulele

I'm building this usable cane with a solid piece of bird's eye maple. The ukulele part has a 19 inch scale length.

    my swamp  witches are about that  thin  in  the  body  ..  i  can still  fit  my  scream weaver   amp  bords   in,,  then   use  a   small  speaker  .   its  doable  ;-)

    If the wood was a little thicker, I might have packed an amp in this thing.  The wood I used was about 1.25 inches thick.

    I can picture me now in the Dr's office.....or chillin in a park......I made a crutch guitar...but a cane would be exactly what this old cripple needs. Mind if I use your idea?....Hey pick, think we could fit and amp in something like this....lol. Very cool build Daniel...
