The neck will fit on the top cookie tin lid like so... The bolts I used are #6-60s. I used a nail and hammer to punch holes at each corner of the octagonal lid and then drilled out the holes using a succession of larger sized bits to keep from ripping out any major sized holes by going to my 1/4" inch bit too soon. Repeated the process on the bottom side lid as well. There a 3 nuts and 3 washers per bolt. I chose not to use a washer on the top (playing) surface as the bolt heads are already pretty high (and I expect, annoying).
