A.D.EKER, I do like to keep an air of mystery - and all eyes on the fingerboard. Don't want to cause any gapers block's with what's atop those shoulders :-D Glad you like the tutorial!

Uncle John, The great Warren Zevon! Maybe have to give that a go :-) Curious as I am about all the alternate tunings, open G is just so versatile like you say and beginner-friendly. Probably why I always fall back on it and especially for these tune lessons. Thanks!

I love GDGB tuning. Got it in my LPG and an octave higher in one my cigar box mandolins. You and I play a lot different styles with it, but that shows the versatility of the lesson. Cool stuff here!
