I appreciate the comments Uncle John, James, Brian, and Alan! I think this is the first time we have had 12 Slingers; everyone got to choose a song for the next meeting (no bonus round for anyone).
The “Little Green Thing” Banjo is tuned like a hobo fiddle without the high G and does stand out. I like it, but the neck is bending at the join point in the middle; the pencil truss rod isn’t stiff enough, so the neck is getting a redesign. I have an idea I want to try out.
