Thanks Brian ! i thougt they whoed broaden on the speach Module thing ,like speach recognition, and stuff like that, the chip thing is even Big overhere its not just silocon valley anymore ! thanks for thoughts on the subject ! appriciated !
Kool, my little cousin had one of those back when they first came out, they received lots of praise due to it being a learning tool & not being another video game.Texas Instruments is alive and well, still making chips for everything from home electronics to secret government projects Andries? In fact the scope of their manufacturing is international, U.S.,Asia,EU. In the U.S. they’re mainly making chips for computers these days?
I like the Speak 'n Spell samples. TI is not too far up the road from me. There's a local synth guy named Paul Schreiber who actually worked on the original Speak 'n Spell circuit. I've met him several times... he's a sharp dude.
