  • BTW, My only store bought guitar, a Schecter C!, gathers dust while by CBGs are played daily, and I'd bet I am not alone.

  •  "UGLY"?! (grins)

That thing is really cool. You and the bass sound damn good as well.

UGLY?! It is beautiful. A functional work of art. Form has always followed function in my book.

  • Love it!!!

  • @ILL GREEN

    Thanks!

    Ha!

  • Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  I like it and you play like Oscar Pettiford.

  • Thanks for the kind words guys!  Adding a few pictures of the ugly lol.

  • Seriously Legit!
I’m not up on what people have put together in the past, or if this is common, but using weed whack line is genius. Sounds great ...and is easier to transport than your average upright!

  • I don't think it is ugly.  Not pretty either.  But very cool.  It sure sounds like a dog house bass and not banjo like to me.  I like the whacker strings.  Nice job on that curved finger board.

  • It’s a beauty of an Ugly!

  • Cool!
