  John I lost the file with all my cover lyrics about 3000 song and about 25 of my songs that where typed. crap

  Thanks Turtle, Hey not that you need it but I read this a few years ago and I would bet people like you and john would get a lot from it . Pat is a Berklee school of music writing  professor. The book is like a condensed version of his online course.

  rtz,    i  actually  saw a custom  bass   done  like that    the other day  .  it  looked  real good  ,, 

  lol  ...  and  i    did  seriously    wonder  if they   saw  my  frame   first . it was  just  too  close  .

  I have always thought that the best songs are simple. John Prine  , Townes Van Zandt  and Neil Young

  It Take a lot of energy to sing and play R&R,I can't sit and play very long so I'm starting to piece songs together cut and paste style

  I use to try and play and sing everything in one take with just a static drum track then play the other instruments then finish the drums.
