I just strung up a new build with strings from Pick. I am a cheap ass and wanted to save those strings for a proven excellent player - not a new and unproven build. But it turned out the Pick strings were the only electric set I had on hand. So I used them. Additionally, I set the action close to what my Swamp Witch has. And used a bass mag pick-up, which I tend to like, and set the pup to strings distance similar to my Swampy.
Results after mild tweaking of how the strings sit in the nut and saddle???? I am very pleased. Pick's strings are not overly expensive- it's just my cheap ass thing and the fact that I know where to get a set of strings for $2.25 or so. And decent strings. I'd give them a B. But my experience with Pick strings after having them on 3 guitars is to give them an A+. Difference makers.
Now, I have not tried Gitty's special CBG strings and I think that next order, I will try them. Even a cheap-ass has to admit that sometimes you get what you pay for. With the Pick strings, you get something good.
I always wonder how you keep and even increase the high level of creative innovation from model to model. The Sabbath tune sounds fat on the swamp witch!

Cool theme!
Could be difficult to find the player at times?
thanx thorsten ;-) my customers pick their theme , and the variety and insight seems to naturally build and be caused by their choice .
thanx for the kind plug UJ :-D
I should get a free set of strings and an autographed photo for that testimonial.
Nicely said, Thorsten.

Yum Yum....and cool-a-roo too!
Well said, Pick. And well done. Lucky new owner.
lol.. already sold . full price , but a free bottle of dish soap . it may be dark .. but comes with it's own light ;-)
You know, Pick. You have a reputation to uphold. You should not sell that dark and dirty beast for full price.
I would give you half price for it in as is condition.
