Played with the Beatbuddy drum pedal. This is in open G tuning, 4 strings and with a slide solo. Not identical to the original.

  • It's really a tool for making your own beats, but you can download songs for a few dollars.  E.g. I got a Neil Young pack of 12 songs for $6.  Pretty good beats, it's real drum recordings that are used so pretty authentic.  You get a load of presets for blues, rock, jazz etc etc and different drum sets too, and you can change the volume, tempo and also use footswitches for extra things like bashing symbols or even breaks.  It can be played with your other pedals and has no effect on them and I just plug it into my amp but I think it is meant to be better through a speaker/PA.  It's brilliant for jamming to.  Quite pricey though at around $300.

  • Cheers Derek and Steve.  Still getting used to the pedal, you have to do the drum fills and transitions by foot so some extra co-ordination is needed.

  • Nice riffin' Clarky. Pedal sounds good too.

  • Thanks Richard
