@the anonymous pick That's pretty freakin' cool, and it's the perfect build to do it on as well! I am an electronics tech, so I tend to put LEDs on everything, including my kayak.
no . i got no noise at all . it was pretty far from the pick up though , but i have used battery operated flashing lights right above a humbucker with no interruption at all .
Did you pick up any noise from the LED? I try to keep everything shielded and grounded properly, but I haven't put a pick up in this one. There is a shielding spray that you can use on the cavities where the electronics go to help kill the buzz and hums, but then you start adding more stiffness to the wood, so it's not an option on acoustic builds like this.
