Another "protest" song....I live in California and only recently learned about this incident....the sort of shock of learning led to song as it often does....(with me) ..please google Santa Susana Field Laboratory to learn about it's history. Lyrics are covering 2 separate events, one occurring in 1959, the other in 1994. Wikipedia has a fairly concise run down/history.
