SALMON SOUND DEMO

Built for Don Straub, guitarist for New Appalachia Gospel Bluegrass, and friend of almost 40 years, (http://www.newappalachiagospelbluegrass.com/). Don provided the salmon box, I had the pleasure and honor to build it for him. It's a 4 string tenor with 4 pole and piezo pickups through a 3W switch, aluminum coaster resonator bridge with disk piezo, fork tailpiece, and Corian nut and saddle. Grover machines and a strap button 1/4" jack.

  • Thanks for all the positive feedback on this one friends! Your opinions let me know when I'm on the right track...

  • The mix setting is magic. No need for effects with that build. That tone is more than enough to stand on its own. Bravo!

  • Agree with everyone, that is a good looking, and sounding 4 stringer.

  • sounds great mike..........

    love the build to......

love to have some boxes like that...................

  • I like the mix setting too.

  • I used a much smaller salmon box for my second build. The lid was warped so I had to flip it over and lost the fish. True story.
