parlour guitar

Though this isn't a CBG, it has the spirit of one. I found it in the dirt at a yard sale next to a sign that said "Free Junk". It had numerous holes and cracks, and a busted off bridge.

  • Though I can't watch the video because my tablet decides more or less every other video is unplayable (crazy "This plug-in is not supported" message) I'm so happy to hear you've brought a parlour guitar back from the brink of oblivion. I'm the proud owner of two parlour guitars from the 60s though thankfully they came my way fully playable. I wouldn't have a clue where to begin with restoring one so you have my respect in bucket loads!

Keep on playing and all the best.

  • Nice fingerstyle Mr Kottke. I like parlor guitars too.

  • Yes, sir.  I love the land fill, dumpster and throw away geetars.  Sounding good.
