  G7 rules, Oily. Or ANY seventh. Just get backing down, (loop if need be), hit Mixolydian mode, and off ya go. (yes, ah KNOW that YOU know what Mixolydian is, Oily, ma ma!n. Don't come out wi all this "down home boy" stuff! lol lol)

  Thanks, Vinnie, ma man.Yes , impro takes us on journeys. Used to do lots of this modal stuff to drum tracks/cassettes, (ah'm an old git! lol) , and on electric with (heavy distortion etc). Still got some demos somewhere!I stick mostly to acoustic these days. Re the booze: yeah, get where ya comin from. For all ma bluster about hard drinkin Scotsman, , ah stick to a few wee whiskies, or wines, at weekend.Thise days long gone for me too! lol

  another  tonally tasty lil morsel , my friend, u have such great soul,brotha....YEAH,with tha exception of my vocal songs ,all of my tunes are improved , its funner on the edge ,hmmmmm,yup...I stopped drinkin , but this was a great song to roast one to.yesireee.....
