Thanks, RTZ. I know you love Townes' music and do it very well.
God Bless Towns Van Zandt well done John. The Townes record is great
Steve Goodman can rest in peace CUB WIN CUB WIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, Todd. Townes had at least two good 1 chorders that I can think of. Rex's Blues is the other.
Thanks, Lonesome Clock. "Lonesome Clock and lonesome John, sang the blues at Catfish Pond. "
Here be the ballad of
Lonesome John...
Hmmmm...
That's all I gots :-(
Good deal, Alan. I think you love to build.
"Yup Yup UJ", back in building mode, have 2 nearly finished builds under construction in the shed, also picked up a couple of nice metal boxes at a charity shop yesterday, one a nice size CBG size square stainless steel letter box and the other an oldish type slide photo box, (they're next in line) :-)
Thanks, thanks, thanks, AGP. Are you building again?
Thanks, Ansenne. :)
Thanks, Derek. Sometimes harp adds a lot of 'hominess' and maybe humility to a song. I like it when it does that. Ha, that and the fact that my guitar solos are not too good.
Thanks, Andries. Townes was a legend and quite a character. He did some great stuff and died young. I hope you find and like some of his good stuff. There were some years that the record company would add a lot of frills and orchestration to his music. Not good. He sounded best by himself or with just a bit of help.
I liked that a lot UJ, That one song that tells it like it is ,but suiteble for all, great dilivery! im heading home along the straitest line, it got Bob D Qualety to it, you do a great van Zand!! will have a looksie in to him now !Thanks John! Your the Best !! Greeeeettsszzz A.D.
Excellent Unc! Sounds great, git, voice, harp.
