Dani & Ol' Grey Bear - Yeah, I'll get there. Since I'm playing it on my lap, and my slide hand is going OVER the frets instead of under...well, it's just throwing me off my game. I think a lot of that will resolve itself the more I play it. :P

I agree with you that it looks beautiful with the finish you've put on it. Sounds great too. I also think that you did a decent job of playing it too. Like everything there's a learning curve and if you're in to it then you'll definitely get there, wherever "there" is that you want to get and are willing to work for. Go get 'em! BTW, that pickup sounds like a beast!
