Thanks for all the compliments. I'm staying at a condo at Glen Haven in the leelaneau peninsula in Michigan. Im facing due west. Miles and miles of soft white sand and 90 plus temperatures. So there's no confusion, I did NOT make this instrument. I had it made for me by Kurt Schoen. He's off the grid these days. Last we spoke he was interested in making things for himself and trying other things. Haven't been able to contact him. I just found this http://www.merchantcircle.com/blogs/Schoen.Guitars.509-301-4780 The tone from slapping is interesting and you can't really hear it from the crappy camera mike.
