The Texas hill country is a great place to visit. It's a throwback to a simpler life without a lot of worries. In 1977 Waylon Jennings recorded a song about Luckenbach that has become a country classic. Today I'll attempt to cover Luckenbach, Texas from Luckenbach, Texas. Sorry for all the wind noise.
Intro - 0:00
Song - 0:42

Thanks AGP & John. I've always really liked this tune. It's so well written and timeless.
"Well Done Poorness" one of Waylon's Best :-)
Cool, Kale. I just re-read a book Willie Nelson wrote.
Ha ha. The wind is a bit of a monster to contend with but... it's still fun. Thanks AD.
Whit free Sound effects ,sounds real Kale , on the Move ! like a Texas Gypsy !
Oooh. That's a great suggestion. Now I need to figure out where Winslow is. LOL. Thanks Doug.
When I saw the song title, my immediate thought was that I thought you were doing a repeat of a recent cover … then I realized Cally Mike did a cover of the song a few weeks ago at our Monday Zoom meeting. So I recognized the song, and now I recognize the place. Perfect setting for the song. Great job Kale!
Are you planning to do Take it Easy from Winslow, Arizona?
