Still messing around with new 4-track. Playing with panning and mixing.Trying to get that Stones/Faces sound from cbg. Sounds best with headphones.

Steve, you're right. Sometimes too many tracks spoils the mix. The drums are in mono and the guitars are in stereo. I tried panning lead on two seperate tracks. I think next time I will stick to one lead track.

I tried working in stereo a few times but the results seemed unfocussed and slightly messy, i found it better for me to record in mono and use as least tracks as possible trying to making it sound more like a live performance - everyone to their own but your results are good so far. (-:

how many guitar tracks did you lay down? at some points it sounds like there are 3 being played
