I wish there were a way to respond to your comments individually but I guess I haven't figured it out yet. Jim and AGP, u are right Cashes version is raw, straight from the soul. My inspiration is Sarah who fronts our band. She's had her share of rough times and expresses it soooo well in this song. Thanks ya'll for listening and posting.

Guys, I did listen to Johnny Cash's version again and liked it more now. I think the sadness and needle part scared me away from liking it in the past.
