I have used this method but the best one is still a glass cutter and hot water

this is still cool though i have the dremel and bit at home must try.

i saw a special on wine and food where the neck of the bottle was removed by thin red hot pliers that wrapped around the neck. Then they put ice water or maybe a cool rag around the spot that was heated and it popped right off.
