Good sentiments man . yeah , sadly, the " Cbg's for Servicemen" group has been discontinued , but alot of folks still doing their part , IE: ST. Louis cbg fest donating proceeds to "6 string heroes , " for the last 3 years , in which i'm glad to be a part of , and donate a raffle swampwitch to every year . and many folks just gifting guitars to local servicemen all over cbn , and / or donating one for raffles etc . always good to see it paid forward , .
Dan was a great guy , and will be missed . lotta great folks contributed to the cbg for service men too , kootoos to all. and folks like you Vin, for inspiring such. efforts.
Nice cruise Vinnie. I see you are putting on a “Happy Face” in your new ap vids. You introduced me to Dan’s flat pickups. I loved those pups and made several guits with them before his passing. I’m glad Gitty put’s Out the Wicked Buckers to carry on the tradition. Thanks Vinnie. You are definitely “Downtown”!
