  • Thanks everyone. This uke brought $100 in the auction. In all more than $5,000 was raised for the food pantry. I mean when folks bid $50 on a $20 gift certificate at a local restaurant you know they're in a charitable mood. Some folks won an item and then donated it back to be auctioned again. I gave the uke winner a free 5 min lesson in the coat room!

    Thanks RTZ. Last year's uke brought $125 which is a little more than I usually sell them for. If I play a tune on it first people realize that it's not a toy like some think.
