My first-ever slide blues mandolin song. Are there any others? This mando has been hanging on the wall way too long. I'm taking it to Caffe Lena this week and using it for all three of my songs. This is one of them.

Thanks. The riff started with me trying to emulate Mike Snowden's "Chicken Coop Blues", but morphed into its own thing pretty quickly. Still heavily inspired.
I love my outdoor oven. Best thing I've ever made, I'd say.

Thanks Maddog! I'm doing this song, Wagon Wheel - with a bluesy twist - and a song I picked up from Linsey Alexander in Chicago called "Call My Wife."
Get the Fire Hose, Eric has started a Mando Slide Inferno!
Well done Bro! It will go over well at the Caffe :-)
Thanks everyone. I'm really liking the sound too.

Jumpin' cats you sound amazing B~Finger!!! Meowwwwww^..^
Nice that thing sounds great and the angled headstock has bring up conversations.
That just sounds surprisingly good. Very well done. That tuning is called Sawmill tuning.
I hadn't played this mando nearly enough in its standard tuning. I dropped it to GDgd and it suddenly wanted to sing.

Sounds great Eric. Wood fired pizza? Yeah, I'll take a slice.
