I heard this song while on a drive today while listening to a Memphis Jug Band CD. I had to try it when I got home. It needs JUG! The song may be by Will Weldon of the Jug Band. The band's sometime harmonica player, Will Shade, is close to my fave harp player. You can hitch me to a buggy. Drive me like I a mule. (x2)But I'm here to tell you, woman, I ain't gonna be fool.Well, I may be right - and I may be wrong. (x2)Treat me right or I'm as good as gone.I'm gonna buy me a bulldog to watch my woman while she sleeps. (x2)Gonna keep that gal from makin' her midnight creep. She said she loved me. But that was just a lie. (x2)MMMMmmmmmm Mmmm Mmm..You can hitch me to a buggy. Drive me like I a mule. (x2)

Ahh, stubborn mule blues, you gotta love it! These great songs have a way of finding their way to you Uncle! I believe Will Shade would appreciate your Iowa sax on this, well done! You have to find your women on the other side of town!
