I've been building since about 2008 and have made at least 100 CBGs. But this is my first Crow Style - stick ON a box. It was and easy and fun build and sounds and plays pretty well. It has a piezo, but this demo is unplugged.

Thanks, Kale. You know, I think the Crow style fits better in the lap than a through the box type. I don't know why I waited so long to try a Crow.
Thanks AGP. Nice Dulcimer. The first instruments I ever made were dulcimers, but they are long gone. Maybe I will do one again and try to learn to play it better. My banjo experiments are not working out.

"Well Done UJ", Loud 'n' Proud, wasn't aware that the Stick on a Box was referred to as Crow Style, I think I done one with an Ammo Box a few yrs back, but changed it to a Stick in a Box for some reason, I do have a Mountain Dulcimer type build with the the Stick on Top, and you now have me looking at it with thoughts of building a 3 String Git in the same style. :-)

Excellent demo of Uncle Crow slide guitar. Big unplugged sound from a small box! Super easy to build and they sound great. That’s a win-win in my book. I’m surprised we don’t see and hear more of them.

Well I did my "water the flowers and garden dance" maybe that's where the rain for you came from......didn't work here as it's like the Sahara.
That Crow really does have some nice sound and volume! I like it!
