Old blues done by Snooks Eaglin. 'Traditional or possibly written by Mr. Eaglin.Played on a ho-made tenor resonator guitar in Chicago DGBE tuning. Played in A with an Iowa saxophone in A.First video from the new house and den. That helps me feel even more at home. :)

  • Thanks, Derek.  Yes, Ogden, Iowa.   Is there possibly a better know Ogden?   Little town of 2000 + here.  Pretty area and nice folks.

Thanks, Richard.  I sure liked the video that you and Vinnie recently posted.  Oh!  that turquoise accent  wall would have been good for an aquarium.  But too late, I painted it Terra Cotta, which pretty much looks like barn red- which suits me fine.

  • Nice way to break in a new home! Greasy greens and fine acoustic guitar playing Uncle! House warming good, and your vocals are strong with melody after the short rest. Great wall backdrop for a nice size aquarium........practice your CALLYFEST ugly fishing techniques.

  • I thought you stayed in Iowa?! Good sounding song and harp Unc

  • Thank you, Danny!  Pretty easy and fun song.  My specialties!

  • great job Unc some mighty fine pickin and sax playin

  • Thank you, Anthony!

  • Great job Uncle John, thanks

  • Thank you, Shane.  It has been my go-to acoustic for several months.  Comfy size, sound and volume and action okay for either fingering and slide.

  • That's a really sweet sounding reso John .

  • Grins and chuckles, Pick and D.W.
