Jim this is such fun! I watched Wes and his wife's first then went (back glad I did ) now yours~ I was not familiar with the song liked both versions they bring smiles!!! Meowwww^^
This belongs on the follow up cd. Really works well with your voice. I have an old mandolin I still play some, but I have never made a cigar box one, will have to try. So far my pop bottle experiments have worked well. I hope to make a full banjo soon using that design I showed you. Hope you are well and happy and your instruments are selling like hot cakes!
Cool wes! Nothing wrong with hearing a different version of it so post it anyway. I usually do this on fiddle but this mando is what was ready. What istrument do you play it on?
Thanks Unc. What kind of bizarre foods could Andrew possibly find in WV? Just because we have roadkill cook-offs and snapping turtle soup. When we first moved here the VFD was having a ramp festival. I had no idea what they were but now I look forward to them every spring!
Oh man, that sounds so good with you playing it. Nice little song too.
I watched Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre Food's America tonight on the Travel Channel and the featured state was your West Virginia. But no mention of cornbread and butterbeans. But it sounds good, I like both.
