Jim this is such fun! I watched Wes and his wife's first then went (back glad I did ) now yours~ I was not familiar with the song liked both versions they bring smiles!!! Meowwww^^

  • Thanks Matt looking forward to seeing/hearing the banjo.

It'd be fun to hear you and your wife's version, wes.

  • This belongs on the follow up cd. Really works well with your voice. I have an old mandolin I still play some, but I have never made a cigar box one, will have to try. So far my pop bottle experiments have worked well. I hope to make a full banjo soon using that design I showed you. Hope you are well and happy and your instruments are selling like hot cakes!

  • Cool wes! Nothing wrong with hearing a different version of it so post it anyway. I usually do this on fiddle but this mando  is what was ready. What istrument do you play it on?

  • Thanks Rob, Reeds and turtlehead.

    Thanks James O.

Thanks Unc. What kind of bizarre foods could Andrew possibly find in WV? Just because we have roadkill cook-offs and snapping turtle soup. When we first moved here the VFD was having a ramp festival. I had no idea what they were but now I look forward to them every spring!

  • Sounds good Jim Nice looking Build

  • Yeeeeehaw!

  • Oh man, that sounds so good with you playing it.   Nice little song too.

I watched Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre Food's America tonight on the Travel Channel and the featured state was your West Virginia.   But no mention of cornbread and butterbeans.   But it sounds good, I like both.

  • Good un Jim !
