This is an original song based on an old theme and inspired by a classic blues tune by Blind Lemon Jefferson. Thanks to Uncle John (and Bob Dylan) for the inspiration. Played on my Perez Carrillo box 6 string and a Microcube.

    Congrats on being #1 on the top content list. Kitchens are an abyss, they're never done! Erasmo, You're right, I've been on the street well done and well deserved Derek! That's key change worked nicely.

    Richard, thx for the listens and great advice! Hoping I can get by with just painting and new hardware on the cabinets...  if I procrastinate long enough... ha! But Jim is right I need to get moving on it... and Erasmo wouldn't steer me wrong either so need to go to Home Depot this weekend...

    I experimented with a key change on this song and was hoping the voice would follow the chord changes, so slowed it down after a few practice runs.

    Very nice Derek. Now stop screwing around with guitars and go fix the kitchen. I'm about 3 weeks behind in my firewood splitting and stacking duties because of screwing around like this.

    Beautiful Derek! Agree with Pick, album!!! Very heartfelt lyrics and singing, Uncle's right, may be your best. I'm skipping meditation, three listens and I'm in the perfect mood. Great looking guitar and guitars a hanging. Fix up the kitchen, four scarey words I never want to hear! Try this, works 12% of the time, Honey, if the album does well, I'll buy you a new kitchen!     Ah, I thought the white horses in One Kind Favor caught your imagination.   I am glad it did.  This is a really pretty and mystical sound with maybe the best of your fine vocals and good playing.
