Didn’t mean to step on any tulips! Tiny Tim certainly not my cup of tea, but I’ve enjoyed listening to ukulele. Tainame Gardner and the Ukulele Orchestra to name a few! Love the photo A.D!
Nice one Poorness! you gave that brown one a good work out ! UKE'S GROW ON YOU, not beiing abble to afford a guitar at young age, i did start off on uke ,have a couple , Tiny was a old time favorit, even done some cover versions by him in the past ! Uke's Rule !
Excellent! I’ve had nightmares since Tiny Tim, and ukuleles trigger the imaginary all over again. I must say your two ukulele videos have gone a long way to curing me Poorness. And Jim Morris of course! Thanks for sharing! Great looking and sounding builds, both of them!
Thanks Denbo and Uncle J. I think I'll try a concert or a tenor uke one of these days. The longer scales are actually easier to build. These small scales are not very forgiving.
I re-read that story link and liked it even more the second read. This brown uke suits my style and the whitey is gorgeous. No more apologies on singing, you sing well, but that may not be your best key- always transpose the chords to suit your voice. Fun song. And that sounds quite good for a soprano uke.
Good as these sopranos are, I think you would really dig a concert, especially with low G tuning.

Much truth in that on scale lengths.
