Some fancy playing Andries Rocking the Bus Cool !
Andries, you win the goat roping contest with this rocker, a symbol of how things were traditional and acoustic blues and Roots during the day, but after the sun went down, the generators and lights and plugged in guitars lit up the Monterey Bay beach at CALLYFEST 1. Uncle, what was in that Mexican beer you gave to me yesterday afternoon! I just woke up, what did I miss? A D, you took this by the tail and ran with it, super videos, great job! Uncle, I’ll get better catering next time. Joe’s imitation cheap meat and frozen bun sandwiches is out!!! I figured one portable toilet on each beach would be enough, forgot everybody drinks beer 12 hours a day! Sorry folks, not a tree in sight and 2 hour waiting lines.....good thing I passed out! Uncle, it’s a CBG event, you have to think someone is going to smoke cigars! Ha! Next time, we’ll have a smoking area next to the livestock corals. The budget really got stretched, had a choice, toilet paper or a first aid station. I think that was my best decision, 13 bandaids were issued and a 12 volt battery cpr paddle kit ....clear.....Wes used 18 times! Vegan, I thought that was green bacon! Everybody, please post your festival beachwear photo on the first California CBGs and Roots Music Festival Page. I’m making a scrapbook video with the help of Rose Ericson, it was her great idea! A D, this was magical, it captured the moment beautifully!

It was a great fest and I don't mean to complain. But it could be better for next year. Maddog and Digly and their stinky cigars. There should be a small and isolate smoking area. And the food vendors came up appallingly short on vegan items, and bacon wrapped vegan items. Hot dogs for breakfast? They should have offered breakfast pizza and breakfast fajitas. And the restroom facilities (and decent paper) was sadly lacking. Just sayin.
