Don Tomas box using the wood bottom as the mandolin top.Medium-Medium frets- I should have used smaller ones, but I used what I had.Scrap metal tail piece. Gitty' economy tuners. Electric guitar strings using the 5th, 4th 2nd and first for either standard mandolin tuning (GDAE) or sawmill tuning GDGD.Folks if you make one of these, getting the frets nearly perfect is crucial. Don't use a fret calculator. Lay your fret board down beside a factory made mandolin and mark the fret spots. --I also used a fret for a zero fret and made a wood string guide.

I need all the help I can use John. Dave’s Outhouse Stage...lots of holes. I’m on YouTube seeing about converting a right handed backhoe. Not a lot of information. I’m thinking if you just turn a 180, that might work.
Oh, I like that a lot! Cool mandolin, sound big time. Saving a pretty little woman for you. Feisty and a bit mean, make you feel 50 again. I believe that’s your second CallyFest song, love it John! See you at the bear massage tent.

Thanks, Bob!
A fine Cally-Fest song! That mando carries a sweet tone Unc J... useful info too, thanks.
Rick, quit wasting time looking youtube and get those holes dug! If they are not dug, I can try the 180 degree turn thing on the back hoe.
Danny, I think you passed us west of the New Mexico line. Something with a cowboy hat zoomed by at about 140mph. See you at the fest.
I will see you there Unc as long as I do not run out of jet fuel for my skateboard

Thanks, Rick. Hey, Rick. I can help you dig outhouse for the fest if you have a left handed back-hoe.
