This is my cakepan geetar and a sound sample. I c-clamped the piezo to the side of the neck and it actually improved to sound. Someone smarter than me can explain why it sounds better. The sound sample was recorded through the tc electronic bodyrez pedal into garageband. Let me know what you think!

    "Sounds Great" no explanation necessary!!, if it sounds good run with it!!, maybe a combination of a small clamp (also being used as the bridge?) and the Piezo to the side may work ?????????????????

    Sounds good.   A bit odd on the C clamp, but interesting.   Some shield the tops of piezos with bottle tops and glue.  I sandwich the piezo top with hot melt glue.
