After reading some other threads it seems I need to file the neck down some so it doesn't touch the sound board part of the box. 1/4 - 1/8th of an inch except where the piezo rod is. Thinking this may help boost the acoustic volume.

Cool stuff...I've been using mostly metal on both ends. I know that would horror fi many...but it works...Will be trying to work more with bone.
