Can Fiddle I built a few years back. The name, "Bombizatio" is Latin for Buzzing (of Bees) and is so named for its crescent shaped bridge that provides a Trompette like buzzing Similar in principle to the hurdy gurdy. The buzzing happens when the strings are bowed together while not held down and only occurs if the strings are tuned to a 5th interval.

This is a 2 sting fiddle. Originally I wanted them an Octave apart for a reedy tone but the fifth interval made the bridge buzz so it became the primary tuning. I wanted it to be a slide instrument from the get go as I'de never seen a slide fiddle either and was curious how it would work (if it would work) but it did make playing it initially difficult. Thanks for your interest and glad you liked it.

Thanks! A very cool and original idea that works.

WOW. Sounds good and you are using a slide! First time I have seen that. How many strings are you using?
Wow! I love the way that thing sounds. Nice playing too. Super cool build.
