Thanks, Doug. That mando works so well that I may one day add the rest of the frets. But I only use about 4 of them! I laid the fret board along side a store bought mandolin to mark the frets.
Not the history classes I went to, Pick. But I might have liked them more with some good story songs. I remember you at the arcade. You got highest score ever on the Dale Evans pinball set.
Fine form Uncle John! A murder ballad, yeah! Where are the rest of the frets on that mando? By the way, how did you set intonation without a 12th fret?

Coming through loud and clear, Rick. Thank you, sir. Not an original though. A classic! And I bet you would do a good job on it too.
Thanks, Derek. Me too. It's kind of embarrassing! Delia, Tom Dooley, Crow Jane, Long Black Veil - and more. Hey, I sure like the sawmill tuning.
I'm a sucker for murder ballads, John. Good one here.
I don’t think my comments are going through John. This is a test. Great song! Original and on a mandolin, tops!
Thanks, Kale and Dave. Much appreciated. This mando may let me recycle old songs/videos for months!
Loved it Unc. , Excellent story and great singing and pickin.
Nice storytelling music John. It keeps the listener engaged from beginning to end. Nice tin sandwich too.

Alan, I like the Sonny and Brownie version best too. Thank you.
