This one was finished in the last week of school. It's a pretty deep box and has a nice thick sound to it. I like the two toned stained sound board also.

Wes, yeah... it is really a visual art class but I let them choose projects at the end of the year and I offered the cbg as an option...

Hey, Paul... the hole is a sound hole.. the metal trim around it is just a closet pole bracket. As far as using the lid or the bottom.. I've seen it done both ways... all the ones I have made so far have been done on the lid mainly because that was how the first ones I looked had done them. NIce , just looking to start my first box . what is the silver hole you have is it a plug hole ? , was ther ea reason for making the lid the top of the box the playing side instead of the bottom . Just gathering as many facts as possible before I make mine. cheers Paul from UK
