A quick Amplified Sound Sample of the first verse of “Sound of Silence”, on AGP #490 – “Merbau”. A Sixteen String Lyre, played through my Spark Amplifier, on the Preset Acoustic Studio Session Setting, Gain 6.4 - Bass 5 – Middle 10 – Treble 5 – Volume 3.6 :-)

  • "Thanks for the kind comment and interest Anthony", But!, Sorry, I don't have a Video Tutorial for this build. and not sure if there is one on Utube etc., I just sort of made it up as I went along, based on some pics I'd seen of similar builds, the best I can offer is this Pic, giving some idea of the frame size, and Scale Lengths I used, haven't included the String Gauges I used, because in retrospect, if I was to do another one.   • "Thanks Poorness', I was going cross eyed just trying to hit the right strings for the first verse, without going all the way  to the final one, about the Prophet, this is my last Lyre Build "Amen" :-)
