"Thanks Doug", when I first started building and playing these things some 8 or 9 years ago, all I wanted to do was play them loud and fast, slowed down a bit over the years, but I still like to up the Grunge and Volume from time to time ;-D
"Thanks UJ", have been leaning towards the slower quieter side of playing lately, but have now started going back to the wilder side of CBG's, not always popular with the Family and Neighbours, but it it is what it is, done this same Seasick Steve tune about 3 years ago, at "Warp Speed", but slowed it down a bit for this one, also done "Don't Know Why She Love Me But She Do" around 2 years ago, and will definitely look into doing some more of his many great songs. :-)
"Thanks Poorness", the Rockin' Log is made all the Rockier courtesy of the 15k Dual Rail Humbucker ;-D
"Thanks Andries", it was originally going to be a Lap Slide Build, but after finding out that it did fit my legs nicely, in the sit down position I prefer to play in, it became a regular 3 String CBG type build. :-)
Rockin’ out AGP! Yeah! Well played on a cool slab of a tree. All the elements tie together nicely: looks and sounds great!!!
That sound and play does suit you. Good, good. Nice smile at the end. Maybe you should look at more SS songs to play.
