I don’t know about the “resonator tone” Alan! But I do like the mellow tone and the longer sustain I am getting from the flourocarbon strings. I’m curious to see how they do on a cigar box. Thanks for checking out my unconventional take on a saw blade guitar.
Good Song Slingers, at first I was a bit worried when you said you used a 3D Printed Saw Blade in the Build, BUT!, it does have a very Mellow Resonator Tone, well done Doug :-)
Thanks for noticing A.D.! The flourocarbon fishing line strings seem to be more musical and have more sustain than the plain monofilament ones. The piezo is hot on this one. On my amp it’s either loud or off. Looking forward to trying the strings on a cigar box guitar.
PLAstic fantastic! Thanks Kale. The saw blade guitar is easier to play standing up. Hard to keep it on my lap when seated. The Flourocarbon strings make a low G possible with a 23” scale length.
Thanks Uncle John! This is another song that I added to the songbook at another Slinger’s request, so I had to learn it. It’s been chosen a few times and it has grown on me. Good songs will do that to you.

Thanks for the kind words James! We do have fun and I look forward to our Monday night meetings, a dozen songs chosen by the Slingers.

That plastic saw blade puts out some sound. Well slung (and strummed).

Always a good song. Nice one, Slingers.
