g-bass, wood box instruments, cigar box guitars

In this video, i demonstrate my three string G-bass. a box bass guitar i built from a kit supplied by C.B. Gitty. I was so hooked on this project, i was adding the strings, tuning the instrument and playing a few blues riffs as late (or early?) as 12:30 AM Saturday morning, June 29, 2024.

Thanks, Doug and Poorness Studios. Well, the build was fun for the most part. There were some minor issues but i fixed them. As for the matter of the neck: SO far, i have not seen any bowing. What we have are the neck, fingerboard and neck brace. I dont know if the wood "sandwich" is enough to prevent any bowing.

When they introduced the G-bass, it only had 2 strings. I saw they added a 3rd string to it recently. I was curious how well the neck would handle the tension of 3 strings. Have you noticed any bowing of the neck?
