Hey Paul, here are a couple of pics of my lap steel. I'm going to change the bridge, but is sounds great.
don't have mine done. got all the parts and everything cut. got strings this afternoon. just need to put it all together.

howdy paul--i jus stopped in ta answer yer question about the wirespool fretless banjo build,s strings.---i used nylon classical strings made by Labella and the drone string is an unwound string that is prolly real catgut that i got from an old russian 3 string guitar i bought some time ago. thanks fer yer question.
