  • I've never gotten any of my builds done in a day.. so I was just kinda happy I was able to do it

  • My first 2 builds took less than a day each. My first was about 2 hours start to finish. I still love to play it. I'm just now getting into some more involved builds.

  • yeah, it was pretty cool to have it up and running in a day.. and i was just playing with it and.. in my opinion, it sounds pretty good/gnarly. as for the "high end" stuff i've built before... thanks for saying so :)

  • A solid body.  Cool.  I failed to read your comments with the photo the first time around.   I know you've made some really high end stuff.  But this one...  It's pretty good.

And isn't it blast to knock one out fast and fun?   I've made a few 'fancies' to try to prove that I can do it.   But my most fun builds are simple relics built in the style of, "I want to build something and be playing it today or tomorrow."

  • thanks UJ, it's actually a solid body with poplar sides glued to the oak neck which runs through the body, as for the pickup, yes, the route is sloppy and its something i'm trying to improve :)

  • Robert, the top of the box and the mag pup look a little out of square.  That noted, it's a pleasing build and I would bet it's a good player.   The top looks like spruce.  Nice job, sir.
