Somebody at the cigar shop peeled the stamp off the box and took part of the paper with it. Its a shame to have such a large blemish. I suppose I could glue a dollar bill over it or maybe some monopoly money.

Thanks for the responses! I like Vinylhed's links and if I had a color printer it would have already been done. When I started this I was "making busy" because my other project got postponed and I've wanted a 3 string. I decided to use my marginal stuff and didn't really expect it to be shaping up so cute. The dark fretboard and dark blue box look pretty handsome together so the bad spot really needs to be covered up.
if you watch ebay you can buy the stamps on there some guys steam them off i guess! and others are selling the stickers out of the inside of the boxes! thanks for the comment on my latest build!
Hi Charlotte, wish that was my worst box, not a problem lady, best if you had asked before you half made the git, myself I would have made a black buffalo horn sound hole in the style/fashion of the old Nationals and problem solved, a cover up job, if you want me to make you one and send it on, no problem mate just let me know. I like what Vinylhed came up with and think that's a great way to go. Who would know that seal was faked seal.
I am using those Punch boxes in my on going set of two CBG's. I liked the boxes because of the color but never cared that mine were a little dinged. The learning curve states that you won't repete this blemish, you got that going for you. Like to see what you come up with.
I like Vinyhed's idea, print them out on some parchment colored "resume" paper for an authentic look. Or like you said, use a dollar bill. Even better, use a $100 bill, and then you can sell it for twice as much! LOL
you could place another hole there Charlotte and paint out the torn bit, with a little care it won't notice - many of my builds have these little flaws but i am told this is what makes them unique...! (-:
