  • lol.. Blue ,  the smile  was  for Dave's string theory  ,,,,  not  your  wood envy  .  ;-)

  • What are you smiling about Pick. I don't make a habit of complimenting a man on his wood y'know ;-)

  • Thanks Pick, Bristol. The neck wood is Oak and my second "Revenge" neck. The oak is fron the stick of wood that stuck me when I fell on my woodpile six weeks ago and broke ribs. Still hurts! But sweet revenge when you can use the culprit to make a banjo. I have one more neck to make out of that 15 foot stick.
  • :-D

  • Good work and nice selection of woods.

  • Thanks Uncle. It's sounding groovy.
  • Hey pick, she sounds great with the Witchy strings! I'm using the second, third, fourth and fifth strings. Got close to setup for slide and finger work. Nice deep resonant tone. Thanks Pick! Strings attached!
  • Looking good.

  • thanx for the  kind word  on the  strings  man  ;-) if  folks only  knew    the hoops  i  had  to  jump through  to  make  them  available  ..  almost  had  to  ball  end them  myself  ,  but  then  was  told  "ok  "  we  can  do  that  "  .  lol.

  • Thanks Pick. I put on a 13 and 36 cheap electric guit strings on high and low strings for a test. I'm still doing setup, but decided on a Swamp Witch set as the way to go on this one. Your great strings should be just right. I'll be stringing it this morning.
