  • Hi Uncle John, no luck at the store today. I'll be looking on line tonight and get some ordered. I'm going to look at Stu Mac too as well as Gitty. I did get a nice capacitor for my tone pot and long stainless screws for my tail.

  • Dave, I think the tombstone and skull tuners from Gitty are pretty stout.   I hear what you are saying.  I came up poor and making do and it's hard to quit.  It's almost certainly cost me more in the long run.   Good wishes on a great git.  And below, I meant to say I like HOW  you engineered that.

  • Hi Uncle John, the wiring was pretty easy. It sounds real good too. Unfortunately, the tuners i got off ebay for her are the cheapest tuners ever made. They didn't survive the first tuning. Two of the buttons came loose. The shafts are round on the bugger. I'll be off to Music Go Round this am. Oh well, you get what you pay for, crap... I hate the idea that her head will have more holes for another set of tuners. I may go for individual tuners instead of the strip type.

  • Like you engineered that.   Wiring looks complexicated.
