Bug, I am not sure what it is. But looking at your nation photo in the tiny size, I think the logo may be are bikini top or bra. I am shocked and appalled.
One string makes sense, apart from the 4 marks. There's a screw in the tail end of the box that's lined up to take a string in the slot and a similar screw at the nut. Maybe the 4 marks were to allow the position of the string to be changed for some reason.
