I'm now the proud owner of a great suitcase amp by Wes Carl. I've been adding a few touches. Gluing up loose paper and adding some Hawaiian shirt fabric inside.

Thanks Bristal, Maddog. She proved herself today at music at the HANSEN homestead. They don't have electrisity. Solar 12 volt, but not for my Vox. So the Vacationer to the rescue. :^)
I got the suit case Unc. I'm ready. Blizzard notwithstanding. It sleeted all night here and iced things up good. Then it got up to 40 and sunny this afternoon. I got a long way on the red tool box today. It's a rattletrap. How's your elixir in a blizzard? Antifreeze?
Yup. That is a beaut. Room inside for elixir and onion sandwiches. Maybe a stick of gum. harps for sure. Dave, we have a bit more snow than you and a blizzard forecast for Monday or Tuesday. As soon as the roads clear, I will head your way, pick you up and head for NC. Wes can put us up for the remainder of winter.
I love this thing. I'll be able to bring a battery amp to my bandmates house (who has no amp electricity, strictly solar panel electric) and plug in my Elmar reso guitar. I like it's size, big! big speaker puts it out for 2.5 watts. I've got lots of room in there for gear. So i'll add a cigar box or some such for slide, tuner, picks, chord etc.

I think Wes uses a Gitty kit or some such. The other photo shows the guts. It's very small but mighty Darryl.
