I use a big ol fat 'E' string to ground all my builds now and would normally drill down from the top of the bridge into the box. Then the strings go on top of the E string which is nice because not only does it ground all the strings but also helps prevent string hop.This build I put the grounded E string out the back and simply thread it thru the eyelets in the strings. Works just as well...
