Virginia License Plate Chugger

Box wood and neck wood is oak from my son’s property in Virginia. Trees were felled and planked by previous owner. Brought home some boards with me.

  • Thanks AGP! I was delighted with the find! The rust was a real plus, no faux old here! I had a choice between a 69 (reversed colors) and a 72. Couldn’t remember if I was in Virginia in 69, so I went with 72. Turns out either would have worked; talked to my Dad recently and confirmed the assignment years.

  • Thanks Uncle John! I love blending high with no tech; the best of both worlds. By the way all the white 3D parts are marble PLA! My dad was stationed at NAS Norfolk which explains my presence in Virginia.

  • I like it, but might like it more with vintage looking frets and accoutements. On the other hand, the old and new is cool too. I didn't know you were a Virginian.
